Classical Wrapped V-Belts
Features
Movendis Performance VB Classical
Versatile. Reliable. Proven.
The Movendis Performance VB is our classic wrapped V-belt, engineered for universal performance across agricultural, industrial, and mechanical drive systems. Its robust construction and versatility make it the go-to solution for both standard and demanding applications—including V-flat drive systems and heavy-duty agricultural equipment.
Manufactured with a high-performance insulation filler, this belt guarantees strong adhesion between the tensile cords and the rubber body, ensuring excellent power transmission and durability. The outer layer features a friction-resistant industrial fabric, offering abrasion protection, stable grip, and smooth running in all conditions.
Movendis is manufacturing the Performance line with a Stiff-Polyester cord providing +30% power ratings compared with a traditionnal classical wrapped V-Belts.
KEY FEATURES & ADVANTAGES
• Constant length L = L, manufactured with far more tight tolerances than ISO 4184 / DIN 2215 standards
• M=S (Matched Set): No need for length matching—ideal for multi-belt drives
• Meets antistatic requirements of ISO 1813
• Electrically conductive, preventing electrostatic charge build-up
• Uniform power transmission across all pulley types
• More flexible than conventional wedge belts
• Temperature range: -30°C to +80°C
• Excellent reliability in operation, even in extreme conditions
• Available in custom configurations to meet specific application needs
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
• Agricultural equipment and harvesting machinery
• General-purpose industrial drive systems
• Wedge-flat (V-flat) drives in mechanical engineering
• HVAC systems, compressors, and pumps
• Power transmission in high-dust or high-load environments
